Are Back 2 Nature products suitable for sensitive skin?
Less is more for those with sensitive skin, that’s why we have created simple yet effective products free from harsh chemicals such as synthetic fragrances, parabens, and drying alcohol that can inflame or sensitise your skin. We've also made sure to include specific natural ingredients that have calming properties like Rose and Jojoba oil.
The Sensitivity Test
Wary of trying a new product? We get it. Before incorporating it fully, patch-test a small area.After waiting 24 hours, look for signs of redness or irritation. If you see angry skin, say cheers to that newbie. If not, welcome it into your new skincare routine.
If a lot of your products are oil-based, are they suitable for oily skin?
A common misconception is that oils are not good for people with acne-prone, sensitive, or oily skin. In fact, some natural plant oils have inbuilt antibacterial, anti-inflammatory benefits and some are close to our own natural sebum. Specific natural oils help balance out oil production as opposed to drying your skin with harsh synthetic ingredients leading to a more clear and balanced complexion.

What is the best way to store my natural Back 2 Nature products?
Natural preservatives are not as strong as artificial preservatives and so we recommend keeping your products in a cabinet where they won’t be affected by heat, UV rays, light or moisture. This will prolong the shelf life and keep all the ingredients functioning as intended. If you live in a very hot or humid climate, or have products that you use less frequently like our Face Masks then a great tip is to pop them in the fridge to prolong their lifespan.
What is the best combination of Back 2 Nature products to prevent ageing and wrinkles?
You can't go wrong with any of our products as they all include wonderful anti-ageing properties. However, our customer favourites include our Anti-Ageing CBD Night Balm, as well as our Golden Glow~Botanical Face Serum which works to reduce age spots, wrinkles and pigmentation. They also lock in moisture and prevents fine lines. Our Calming Face Toner is also a fan favourite as it tightens and tones the capillaries just below the skin whilst balancing out the hormones in the skin. Lastly, we recommend our Repairing Fynbos Mask which is great for sun-damaged and ageing skin, with properties that hydrate and improve your skins overall health.
Can I use Back 2 Nature products that contain essential oils if I am pregnant?
While most oils can be used safely during pregnancy, there are some that should be avoided such as Buchu which can be found in our Golden Glow Botanical Face Serum & Clove found in our Mineral Toothpaste. Although these products contain a very small % within the product over all, we ask customers to please check to see which essential oils are in the product you would like to use and ask your doctor for professional guidance.
